Canepy ("we", "us", "our") is currently in a pre-launch phase. These terms cover the one thing this site currently does: let you join our waiting list ahead of our app launch. By using this site or joining the waiting list, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use this site.

Before our mobile app launches, we will replace or extend these terms with a full service agreement covering the app itself, including the loyalty programme, merchant partnerships, and account terms. Nothing described here should be taken as describing how the live app will work. This covers only the website and waiting list as they exist today.

1. Joining the waiting list

Submitting your email address registers your interest in Canepy. It is free, does not obligate you to anything, and is not a purchase or a contract for the app itself. Joining the waiting list does not guarantee you access to the app or any particular launch date. You can ask to be removed from the waiting list at any time by contacting us.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes. You must not use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it or to any systems connected to it.

3. Intellectual property

The Canepy name, logo, branding, and all content on this site, including text, graphics, and design, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of it without our permission, other than for your own personal, non-commercial viewing of the site.

4. No warranties

This site and the waiting list are provided on an as-is basis. As a pre-launch site, content, features, and timelines may change without notice. We do not guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or the waiting list, including any reliance on illustrative or pre-launch content. This does not affect any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our plans develop, and will post any changes on this page with an updated date above. We encourage you to check back periodically, particularly ahead of our app launch, when these terms will be substantially expanded.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes relating to them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
